[#95]

Probably the highest end publisher I've ever seen but Kris really puts in the work to create wonderful editions.

The latest announcement is likely going to knock a few socks off for DT junkies.

Way out of my league but I sure love looking at the photos of these productions.

Childe Rowland
to the dark tower came.
His word was still "Fie, foh, and fum, I smell the blood of a British man."
King Lear, act 3, scene 4, lines 195-197
Indy Editions is proud to announce its first licensed release, a collection centered on the magnum opus of the man himself, the greatest storyteller of our time: Stephen King.
INDY EDITIONS PRESENTS
A NEW DARK TOWER LIMITED EDITION
19: REVISITED
For the first time ever, we are producing an official signed limited edition that collects the inspi-ration, short stories, and novellas from Stephen King's Dark Tower universe together in one unparalleled volume. Handmade throughout with the finest materials, our goal is to create a book that honors the depth and importance of the universe it holds - something emblematic of the Dark Tower that fans will recognize and that collectors will be proud to own.
This edition collects five shorter works canonical to the Dark Tower universe: UR, Everything's Eventual, Low Men in Yellow Coats, Charlie the Choo-Choo, and Little Sisters of Eluria, as well as two poems: The Dark Man, King's early poem and predecessor to The Gunslinger, and Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came, the Robert Browning poem that inspired the masterpiece.
These poems, stories, and novellas have never been published together in the same volume.
19: Revisited features a new forward by Mike Flanagan, Bram Stoker Award-winning writer and director of multiple King adaptations, including the recent Life of Chuck, and the (much much) anticipated upcoming adaptation of The Dark Tower. It is richly illustrated by Francois Vaillan-
•court, acclaimed artist for several small press limited editions of King's work who has drawn praise from Joe Hill, Stephen Graham Jones, Philip Fracassi, and Stephen King himself.
In addition, we expect to announce additional contributors as the project moves forward.
This ultra-limited edition is hand-printed via letterpress on the highest quality acid-free paper - the first time that any Dark Tower stories have been printed in this beautiful and tactile format.
It will be hand-bound in leather and other materials by Ludlow Bookbinders in the UK.
It features hand-marbled papers and comes enclosed in a clamshell case.
This edition will go on sale in 2027 and is limited to 40 copies, designated in The High Speech.
Price TBD; a portion of each sale will go to the All Faiths Food Bank in Sarasota, FL (please consider donating to them directly!). Rights holders for the Indy Editions Dark Tower series will have first refusal and remaining copies (at least 10) will be available to the public via lottery.
As always, for every one thing Indy announces there are two more things under wraps, so there will be many other surprises coming as we move through the production process! Go to https://indyeditions.com/and sign up for the newsletter to receive updates and announcements.
Contents: The Dark Man, UR, Everything's Eventual, Low Men in Yellow Coats, Charlie the Choo-Choo, and Little Sisters of Eluria by Stephen King; Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came by Robert Browning; Forward by Mike Flanagan; Art by Francois Vaillancourt; printed letterpress and hand-bound in the UK; limited to 40 copies for sale.

Never heard of them, which is weird if they've published all of those King limited editions. The fact that they misspelled "Foreword" doesn't inspire confidence, lol.

I'm surprised that he was able to get the rights from King to reprint his "The Dark Man", if in fact he did. Seems like an awfully niche and micro-press project for King to give his blessing to, but <shrug>. Either way, not my thing and even if it were, I'm confident it's ultra-low limitation and all letterpress bells and whistles will translate to a sky-high price that only King fanatics will find enticing. It's times like these that I'm glad I'm not really a King collector.

I think he has only done rebinds up until now. They are high end rebinds with original art and many bells and whistles. They cost more than my last few used cars TBH.

This one is likely another rebound book but I'm not sure.

Strike the above. I read right through the letterpress part.

I'm sure Kris Webster will do a superb job with this... Undoubtedly pricey, but for the right collectors this will be a must have.

King has been known to support various charities through the sale of signed, special/limited editions
