😂😂😂😂

Finally got around to watching a film that I've been meaning to catch for years, THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT, starring the always worth watching Sam Elliott. The title pretty much explains it all...Elliott plays a man who killed Hitler during WWII, and is approached by the America...

For some unknown reason, my mother hates Don Knotts with a passion. If one of his movies is ever on TCM, I'll call her and say "Put on channel 60, quick!", which usually gets me cursed out and hung up on, lol.

Watched FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3 tonight, and it was more of a step in the right direction. The filmmakers at least tried for a LITTLE character development. (VERY little, but at least the final girl had some backstory to her, even if the rest were just a nameless rabble of victims.) Jason dons his ic...

You must be just a little bit older than me. I was 9 when the first F13 came out. The first one I was old enough to see in a theater was the fourth one. Boobs, jump scares, and gore was the name of the game back then, lol.

Narrator: It was too expensive

Sold.

If you wait a little longer, they usually do a numbered hardcover edition (no slipcase, book only) which may or may not be signed, in the $30 to $45 price range. That’s the route I usually go with Weird House. B

Just went to their web site, and they did offer a double letter with a slip case. I don’t seem to remember if They have done that in the past. I’ve ordered books from them before and have noticed the different prices between editions though.

I may be wrong but I don’t believe the double letters come with a slip case.

Say what you will about Don Knotts - but he had some memorable and very funny roles.

I didn't remember much of the plot, but I had a strong memory of the masked Scarecrow riding his horse across the countryside while the theme song played ...

I'll admit to watching this in the theater when it was released. As a teenager and big slasher fan at the time I'll say I enjoyed it**... then. I don't think I've seen it since and not overly surprised it didn't hold up over the years. **In my defense: back then it was all about the jump scares a...

Finished a couple of shorter books recently that I really enjoyed. The Death of Blockbuster by Sam Rebelein (just released on Oct 20)An unsettling tale of two sisters who couldn't be any more different, and of the impact and reaction to trauma in a small, dying town. No Peace Here by Adam R. B...

This one was really good. I thought the original novella was creepy and the revised, updated and greatly expanded version maintained all of that original creepiness and then built on top of it to deliver an excellent haunted lighthouse story. There were definite unexpected surprises and I thought th...

I've no idea, but it sure sounds like it to me.

Hmm...now the PC edition is sold out, but they are offering a slipcased double-lettered edition for $80. I'm a little confused. Is the only difference between the slipcased lettered and double-lettered edition just the letter designation themselves? Did I unknowingly pay an extra $20 for a line on p...

If anybody is interested, a quick check of the Weird House site shows one PC copy of the slipcased edition available for $80 and the non-slipcased double-lettered hardcover for $60.
