I finished SUNNY PINES, which did absolutely nothing for me...a 1 out of 10, and that was being generous. The amount of typos and errors...wow. CD really dropped the ball when they stopped using my proofreading services, lol.
Starting Daniel Kraus' ANGEL DOWN, which I've been putting off because I just know that the "One endless sentence" structure of the novel is going to annoy me. I hope I'm wrong.
Finished up Annihilation last night. In creased my rating from 4 stars to 4.5 stars.
Just appreciated the pace a lot more this time - and while I realized the movie is not the same, I'm excited to revisit the movie next. Maybe tomorrow?
Even though I told myself (and the world) that Katherine Arden's newest book (The Unicorn Hunters) was going to be next, I REALLY wanted to read Batman: Dark Patterns next.
Set early in Batman's career, it's like Batman in the True Detective universe.
I've only read the first issue but I'm already hooked. Definitely creeped out by the first villain. Anxious to continue this one.
It's 12 issues but is a quadrilogy of 3 issue arcs which I think is a great premise.
I hadn't heard that about this one - I'm now less excited to read it.

@tacomadiver I'll have to check out DARK PATTERNS when finances permit. Sounds interesting.
