This is a week or so late, but Jerad's recent update regarding forthcoming titles was pretty darn impressive and exciting. Some of my favorites are the following:
- The Lisa Tuttle collection
- six (!) novels by Fredric Brown (Brown is a big blind spot for me, so I'm looking forward to delving in)
- and The Ceremonies!
Anything in the newsletter catch anyone else's attention?

Definitely the six (!) Fredric Brown books, and, too, the Brian McNaughton four-book set…everyone needs that one.

McNaughton is another one whose name is familiar but I’ve never had a chance to read any of his work. I figure these four books should help out with that. Any particular favorites you are hoping for?

Because the Centipede newsletter specifically mentions four McNaughton books, it’s safe to say it’s his SATAN’S quartet.
This makes a lot of sense, though I was hoping for possibly some short fiction to be included. Briefly reading a little about McNaughton's Satan's quartet, it seems like three of the titles were re-released in the early 2000s with restored texts. I'm wondering if these will be the versions Jerad will be doing.

I'm super excited about having a nice edition of Watership Down.
Next month I'll be helping a buddy vend at a book show so I'm hoping to grab a copy of a US 1/1 but if not, CP's edition will be a fair substitution.

One of my big regrets in my Centipede Press collecting is my passing on Adams' THE GIRL IN A SWING...sure wish I could go back in time on that one and pick up a copy at list price. I've never been as big a fan of WATERSHIP DOWN as many others, so am not sure about this one. My fear is years down the road I'll be making the same comment: ". . . sure wish I could go back in time on that one and pick up a copy at list price."

I'm not sure how I managed it, but I was able to get a copy. 🙂 I know it wasn't my first CP (Ender's Game was - I also had SO MANY problems with that book but Jerad was great to work with and get it all situated) but it was definitely one of my earliest ones.

@tacomadiver I have a beautiful UK slipcased copy published in 1976 by Penguin/Kestrel books. It is illustrated by John Lawrence. I know I got it super cheap because I bought when I was poor as hell. It came with a bonus bookmark from the Salesian Missions from New Rochelle, NY. I love the little surprise that show up from time to time in used books. The art work is gently whimsical, very restful. Good luck on your search!

Man, just when I don’t think I can get any more excited for Centipede’s upcoming slate of books, Jerad mentions he has two Charles Grant novels in the works.
