Joe Hill's KING SORROW...

I saw this as well, though to be honest, I almost skimmed right past it due to how it was formatted in the newsletter. I have yet to read the book, but it did sound interesting to me, at least until I heard about some of the issues people have had with it. The art looks very cool, though.

I run lukewarm with Joe Hill overall. I liked 20th Century Ghosts (the title story is amazing; the rest of the stories were very good, but didn't blow me away) and I absolutely loved Heart Shaped Box. However, I did not like Horns at all...and that's where my Hill reading ended. I have had a paperback of NOS4A2 in my TBR, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I've toyed with trying more of his stuff with each of Lividian's announcement, but I can never quite get myself to pull the trigger.

All this is to say, I'll probably be passing on the PS edition.

I actually enjoyed King Sorrow - it's massive, and there's a lot of setup, but I found it well worth the time (my spoiler-free review is here)

That said, I won't be getting the PS edition either, just because there's a limit to how many authors/books I can collect

I thought NOS4A2 was pretty good - definitely disturbing in parts.

NOS4A2 is my favorite Hill novel.

I saw this in the newsletter today, and I really liked the art...For my money, that's the kind of illustrations that I'd prefer in a limited-edition. 

I am not sure if I am happy or saddened by this. I used to buy quite a bit from PS. While the quality is lower than I prefer they were always good to deal with. Then ordering seemed to get more difficult. After the nightmare that was ordering 11/22/63 I determined that it would take a lot for me to order from them again. That said, I will probably order this!

I see in today's newsletter that PS Publishing is doing a limited of Joe Hill's KING SORROW. I sure wish, as a Joe Hill fan, that I'd clicked with this book like so many others did -- or, really, at all, given that I even sold my signed Broken Binding special edition. It's a weird omission to have on my shelf, but even though this new PS edition looks like it'll be an attractive edition, the title just wasn't for me and this new edition doesn't change that.

WOW!

Having just finished the book that art work looks amazing!

So far, I have everything that PS Publishing has done for Joe Hill, so this will definitely be on my radar.
