I'm very glad we got this forum at the very end. It would have been nice to get a little notice!

To say the least. To just shut it down unceremoniously with no notice to the members who've populated it for many years...not a cool move.

Since "haven" means "a safe place for someone abandoned" and we're all now abandoned refugees of CD, how about Book Haven?

I registered the new domain - bookhavenforum.com
I'll need to get things transferred - my belief is that it'll be fairly simple but I'm still crossing my fingers.
My biggest worry is losing the users who registered because if that happens, all of the momentum I have here will be gone. 🙁

It actually went VERY smooth. I did have one issue, but my hosting provider had on-line chat and they solved my issue in minutes!
Everything is looking good - I'm still messing with the various appearance options (I have a feeling this will be never ending.)

Random - did The Dark Tower go dark again? My bookmark doesn't work and nothing shows up on Google (at least when I quickly looked.)

Interesting - I just get a server not found message when I try to access the site (and the forum's direct link.)
Wonder if my home network's pihole gets blocked when I try to access?
